The PCC has a close relationship with the school, members of the PCC have served and still serve as members of the Governing Body and the Vicar is Chair of Governors.

The children feel very much that St Mary the Virgin is their church and are keen to provide additional resources for the church and the church community is very keen to support what they really feel is their school.

The Reverend Cate also takes a weekly prayer time with staff first thing in the morning and all staff attend.
Members of the church also provide occasional additional activities in the parish hall e.g. light party, Christmas extravaganza Easter activity day etc.
